MTX AUDIO PUTS ON ANOTHER EAR SPLITTING CAR SHOW WITH DUB MAGAZINE
![]()
(
PHOENIXSan Francisco,AZCA, USA)- On September 12, MTX Audio teamed up with DUB Magazine, Goodyear and Team SVO (SWATT Vehicle Outfitters) to create another eye popping, ear splitting display at the DUB car show in San Francisco. Over 9,000 custom car fanatics showed up at the event to close the 2004 series of the show.MTX’s involvement in this highly anticipated show was not by accident. Goodyear chose MTX Audio to make their booth at the show the tightest around. Goodyear was promoting its new 24″ wheel monstrosity and asked MTX to provide enough bass to have the whole place shaking.
Enter the MTX Team SVO GMC Denali. Stacked to the hilt with audio gear, Team SVO chose three MTX Thunder9500 Superwoofers in a custom enclosure to fill this beautiful black vehicle with bass. The beats were pouring out of the 2002 Denali for two full hours powered only by vehicle’s own electronics-and it never quit. The booth was so loud that the show staff had to come by several times and tell them to turn it down.
People were saying, hands down, that the Denali was the loudest, clearest vehicle at the show, said Tony Abboud owner/president of SWATT Vehicle Outfitters. We like MTX because it’s really well-rounded company with models to fit a well-rounded budget. We will be involved with MTX next year too so expect more of the same to come.

Team SVO along with our “sponsors” MTX and Goodyear shut the DUB Show down. Without a doubt our Denali had everybody in awe. No other vehicle came close to the tremedous output of our system. You want bass and clartiy? Apparently we must be the only shop in the Bay Area to go to.
What’s more impressive is that we were able to run our system full blast for over two hours with in-car electronics alone! That means no power supply was used. Drawing over 3400W of power and the system never shut off (engine did stay on during audio sessions).
Had the show’s staff not come and told us to turn our system down several times we would have played the system non-stop.
Picures and video from the show will be up shortly!!
